What a ghoulish thought, why would any normal, sane person want to
experience such a sight? There is enough crap for us all to witness by accident. Maybe if there were a personal involvement it would be different,
such as a killer getting "his" for killing one of "yours" even then it would be "iffy" Just "knowing" would be enough for me. -

yes, this way anybody wants to commit a serious crime they'll have to think twice about shittin in their pants in front of the nation. Criminals today get away with everything! where is the justice? Nobody cares! they think once they commit a crime they will be incarcerated and taken care off, wow! We all know it is inhumane and cruel, but look at what they have done, and who they have done it too!! when you die, you die ain't no coming back! Most of the time it is the parents that have to bury their children,"NO parent should bury their own children!!" -

Watching someone die is the stupidest thing I have ever heard of. When I watch movies that take place in the olden times and they're is people watching someone get their head chopped off i wonder how they could ever watch such a thing. Taking someones life is bad and people dont need to be watching something like that and think its cool, unless it a movie or a tv show thats not real. -
i agree that taking someones life is bad, but if there is an execution to be taken on, you can bet your life the person being executed has done something horrible to some other poor soul. Look at Saddam Hussein what he did to his own people, in cold blood, murder in our eyes. He thought what he was doing, was the right thing to do. HE WAS SICK IN THE HEAD!!!!!!! He deserved what he got, and it was televised, but i didn't watch. to watch anybody die or be executed is not my cup of tea.

The history of public executions is a very ugly one. Including one done 2000 years ago! I have seen films of one or two modern examples thinking it was OK to watch, but could I not watch one again!
