Just thought i'd ask....?

Why is it this group is about rock music, and most of the polls talk about metal bands? (To clear up a few things, i'm a metalhead and the reason I asked this question was because I don't like it when people think metal and rock are the same....although I do like rock)

Like Miley Cyrus calls sings about being a rockstar... or something... and I like... WTF?
And Jonas Bros are like "WE ROCK"... but I wouldn't call that rock, would you? XP

And about these:

I think they're metal horns, right? But I've heard people say they're the rock n roll sign... Is there some fuckage going on in the genre classification joint?

Metal is awesome!!!! also, i'm starting a rumour that the jonas brothers are gay, so if you guys could back me up on that and stuff, it would me awesome! miley cirus is all pop, she's like a one-girl spice girls if you get what i mean. ITS SOOOO FUCKING ANNOYING!!!

The Music Indusrty has gotten so far from actual musicians Playing the standard Rock / metal tools of the trade. Music now is sort of Like wrestling, it looks real and the fans watch it anyway. ( Even though it has nothing real to offer. Guitar Center still sells Millions of Guitars a year. The rest of the world still loves both rock and metal. The US Industry owned by few are lost. Too Bad.

lets see the bands i like from this list are megadeath, slayer, anthrax, exodus, gwar, mastodon and type O negative..... megadeath is probably like my favorite out of those i've been listening to them for a long time! my dad and i listen to that stuff cuz my mom doesnt like it
