Is it me or are there too many new(soda heads) asking for raves?

Is it me or are there too many new(soda heads) asking for raves?

Getting raves for comments or questions is one thing, but just asking for them, is there a race i didn't know about?

Yes...just answer polls and forget about it. If you are remotely intelligent or nice, you will get raves while you're busy playing.

    i think they think its like myspace...whoever has the most friends out ouf their friends on there, they win the reward of nothing but asking complete strangers to be their friend. thats exacly why i very rarely go on there anymore and beside sodahead is much more fun you get interact with people and learn new things.

    Which question are you asking? Too many asking for raves? Or is there a rave race? - - - I agree that too many newbies are requesting raves just for being (I think its the generation & sense of entitlement) they should be earned & given on merit, not just for showing up.
    If there is a rave race, then I don't know about it either....

    For the kids, they think they will be more popular. For the adults, maybe it is for validation? Regardless, rave like crazy if it boosts self-esteem. Or rave like I do, which is for a great post or poll.

    I know. Makes the rave system kind of pointless. I know I abuse the rave system by upraving, "LOL" or other small comments that don't mean anything, but those people don't ask for it, I just give it.
