Hey McCain, is it important when the troops finally come home from Iraq?

Answered Our Military is always important to me. What's the plan?

    IT'S NOT IMPORTANT!!! That AHole!
Who does he think he is? NOT IMPORTANT??? Since when are our Military personnel NOT IMPORTANT - that selfish, self-centered, flip-flopping bastard makes me so sad and just sick!

HI dragonfli, yeah me too. :)

Answered I think it is important!

How can a veteran not think this is important?
  • raves +6   [-] by Mollybdamned
HI Unblocked. I don't have a clue. But then again we are talking about mccain.
  • raves +2   [-] by Chi Xi Digamma
Haha, indeed. No one knows what he's thinking at anytime.

    Answered He said wha?

I thought he had a plan to keep us in Iraq a hundred years, or until his son becomes an admiral, whichever comes first.
  • raves +5   [-] by Mollybdamned
HI M&M;'s. I not sure, except that is his adopted son. He adopted the boy when he married Carol, his first wife. The one he divorced for Cindy later on. :)
  • raves +4   [-] by M&Ms
Molly, but the kid is at Annapolis, right? So I don't back off my prediction. How do you keep track of all this? I thought the most important things in his campaign were about Cindy--is a stray hair out of place and/or is the jet fueled since he's tired of being a busboy.
  • raves +4   [-] by Mollybdamned
HI M&M's you are right. The kid is there. But it is a long way from Annapolis to Admiral. Unless your daddy is President and can keep war's going long enough to get you through the promotions to be an Admiral. hm..............
  • raves +1   [-] by dragonfli
That kid will NEVER end up in Iraq! Guaranteed!

Answered He said "No, but that's not too important?"

I think Senator McCain is trying to prove that george bush was not actually the most out of touch politician in American history. "Not important"? "NOT IMPORTANT"??? Kind of reminds me of when bush said "I don't give Osama Bin Laden much thought".

So why isn't it Senator McCain on the cover of the New Yorker in a turban burning the American flag? Given his complete lack of concern about the well being of our brave soldiers, and his commitment to continue a failed military policy that only helps our enemies, it would be much more appropriate.

flag concern brave soldiers commitment continue military policy helps enemies
  • raves +6   [-] by Mollybdamned
HI Starr, Good question. I don't why he isn't on the cover either. :)

How can say that the surge is working and also that we will be there for years and years? Is Iraq going to become another US territory?
  • raves +6   [-] by StarrGazerr
The surge works perfectly as long as you keep your eyes, your ears, and your mind closed!

surge works perfectly eyes ears mind closed

Answered Our Military is always important to me. What's the plan?

I have lost 2 family members to this War on Terror and I hate to say but Really wonder what his time table would change to IF he were to lose one of his own kids to this war. Then again with his lack of empathy for our soldiers and vets who knows-but I sure wouldn't want him anywhere near that red button!
  • raves +4   [-] by DEE CEE
Unfortunately, the military would not send his sons into danger if they could help it. For one of his kids to be kill, it would be a surprise attack on an unexpected place. Military does play favorites for certain people.

I know you are right-I thought about that after seeing Prince Harry over in Afghanistan-and my Uncle died there in 2004. Then I think of the Jim Webb's of Our Country and thought maybe I better not comment on that aspect. But I bet they do get preferential treatment. So sad and shameful if you ask me.

Answered He said "No, but that's not too important?"

That just shows that he is so old that he can't even figure out when would be a good time to come home from Iraq

HE DOESN'T EVEN KNOW AND HE WANTS TO BE THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES???

    Give me a freaking break.
  • raves +7   [-] by Mollybdamned
Hi Xianghua, and apparently he doesn't have a plan to find out either.
    Thanks for your post. :)

    Answered He said wha?

2013.. now if my math is right he's saying we won't bring back our troops until he is out of office. Why is that I wonder?

Answered I think it is important!

When he quoted 2013, I firmly believe it was so that if he's elected he'll be under no expectation to bring 'em home during the next 8 years.

He intends to bring 'em back slowly...
firmly elected expectation em home 8 years intends em slowly

Hi Jimlock44. Wow, you hit that nail on the head didn't you.
  • raves +5 -1 [-] by GOD

    Answered None of the above

we will have troops there for along time after most of them come home but he doesn't care as long as he's home I guess he forgot what war is like
  • raves +7   [-] by Mollybdamned
Hi JD5DAD, I think you have a valid point there. His 'memory' of war is over 40 years old it is outdated, vague and does not qualify him to preside over combat now.

Answered Our Military is always important to me. What's the plan?

when he said within the year..... what he ment is they would be out of Iraq within a year and into IRAN!
  • raves +6   [-] by Mollybdamned
HI trip. Yep just like Ed Shultz of Progressive Talk Radio said "McCain is a War Monger." He comes from a military family, and it is all he really knows. But the dynamics of War seem to be beyond him.
  • raves +2   [-] by TripMarz555
Moll, I love Ed Shultz.... except for all the sports talk, usually I tune out when he gets into a college football rant... but I always come back.

you know with how hard you work on your polls.... I mean you're one of the few people to actually break a sweat answering comments.... you could have your own talk show.... I'll call up air america and put a word for you.... thanks Molly!
