How do you think The Joker dies in The Dark Knight?

Joker seems unstoppable in the new movie but eventually the bad guys always go down, how do u think he dies or will be defeated?

He doesn't surrender to batman at all. He gets captured and most likley sent to prison but since the Joker is a genius he probablly will find a way out and cause havoc for gothom. The only problem now is the Heath has passed away and since he played the joker so well we might never get to see another great performance or maybe even see what happens to the joker.

um we don't really know how he dies right?..isn't he just left hanging there by a rope? and then Batman leaves him to get get Harvey..Two Face. I don't really think he will get defeated. So ignore the fact that i put "surrenders to batman"

I picked this, but it doesn't really happen. We don't actually know what happens to the Joker in the end, which is part of what makes the film so great.

...he DOESN'T die. The SWAT team gets him and they take him to jail.
Unless the courts put him to death by electrocution for his crimes, I highly doubt he died at all in the movie.

I picked surrenders, even though I don't agree with any answer. If the writer of the screenplay is smart, he'll write that Joker doesn't die. He is captured and locked up in Arkham Asylum
