Are US Immigration officers terrorists?

I can't really say either. I don't think they are terrorists and I don't think they protect us in any way. Besides, wasn't this country founded on immigration? The Europeans who came here certainly didn't get any authorization from the Native Americans. -

Almost all of us (like me) are here legally or are descendants of people who followed immigration laws.
There are millions who want to come to the US...why should some people be able to jump ahead of the line? -

ICE Agents protect America from people who cause great harm to this country. To include, child rapists, murderers, social scum of the Earth that re crossing that border into the US. I know it's policy not to separate mothers from their babies, they don't even get deported. I'm still voting for the guy and I know he got to do what he's got to do to win votes, stop calling PUBLIC SERVICE PEOPLE terrorist, this crosses the line. -

The problem is that they aren't doing their jobs probably getting their pockets filled with cash to look the other way but that is probably just a few. More likely they are helping smuggling things out of the country to help some poor country that needs weapons.. -

He makes it sound like immigration officers are raiding the homes of Americans. What a convenient ommision of the word illegal. How scary to think that a man who wants to be the President can call public servants who protect this country and put their lives on the line "terrorists", yet wants to sit and chat over tea with dictators and real terrorists. -

You know there are many Hispanics here in the US who were born US citizens, immigrated here and became citizens or are in the process of becoming citizens through legal channels that have no problem with Immigration policies and it's officers. Law abiding people do not fear them or find them to be terrorists. If you are speeding in your car and a cop pulls up behind you, i am sure you get nervous and fearful. When he pulls you over and tickets you is he a terrorist? How about a drug raid? Are the DEA and police terrorists when they throw parents in jail and pull nursing children from mothers who are drug dealers? There are consequences for breaking the law in this Country, should we give a free pass when the law being broken by people who are not even citizens?
Every single illegal in this Country makes it that much more difficult for any Hispanic who is here legally to get a job, rent an apartment or a million other things if they have an accent or look "Hispanic". It perpetuates an idea that they are not here legally or that they are undesireable or a criminal.
Pandering to illegals and their supporters is a slap in the face to any Hispanic who is here by birth or by choice (legally) and really anyone else who is not a natural born citizen. -

I am white, blond, blue eyed and Hispanic. People say things around me and to me because they think they are "safe". Usually the people(liberals) who claim to care so much for the plight of Hispanics, especially the illegal ones really sound like they are talking about all the rescues at the APSCA and some are just flat out bigots behind closed doors.
If people truly cared they would honor the fact that people HAVE to come here through legal channels as it is an honor to be an American, not a right. -

They are doing their jobs. How do we as a nation expect to get illegal immigration under control if our ICE agents can't do what they were hired to do? This is a big problem in our country and the laws enacted need to be enforced. I have no problem with someone coming to this country for a better life just do it through legal means and these things won't happen. -

The first melting pot of the world saw it's down fall because of not securing it's citizenship, not securing it's borders of course that is the Roman Empire. If we continue with our current policies and do nothing to stop this illegal action America will see it down fall as well. Of course Obama will hasting the process of our destruction with his pandering ways. -

When will people realize that people who are here illegally are breaking the law? I don't care if the illegal is from Central or South American, Asia, Africa or Europe. If they break the law and get caught, they have to suffer the consequences. If Obama and those who think like him don't want to enforce the Federal Immigration Laws that are currently on the books, then change them. Open our boarders and let anyone in. -
