In my opinion, Pat Benatar = pop, not rock.
To me, rock and roll is sweaty, loud, and kind of dangerous. Joan Jett is the best 80's female example of this:

I love Joan Jett! Here's my fav. Here's the sweaty version for you.

Awright. So it was released in 1995 and not the 80's. I still think this underrated song is classic PB.

I don't remember hearing this before. Good stuff. Thanks, Fuzzy.

She was awesome, still is actually. When she got that short little haircut I just about passed out and died she was so hot! LOL

I loved the haircut, also. I tried to look like her. I thought she was adorable. Another new avatar.....A little ADD. He, he. It's cool.

Pat Benatar is one of the best. My deep respect for her came from the song I've chosen. It's a bit disturbing, but Cathy, for you and me in our professional lives, it's all too real. So in the spirit of being real, here is my fav Benatar song and video:

Edited to change the video. The REAL one was too real.

Wow....Too true. Do you think she has some personal experience? She always seemed to be singing from her gut.

Yes, I think she's seen something. And spoken up and she rocks.

I missed a lot of things. but that's the price I paid being an alchy. so far behind me now i only think of it when some thing like this comes up. Good reminder for me.

I'm proud of you for getting through that. Many people don't. I've seen a lot of it in mine and my husband's family.

woops ansered wrong. Yea it was a fam thing one of my sisters, my mom and her dad. Was easier than stopping smoking though. I just didn't want to cause the kind of hurt my mom did with us. she is a lost soul.
