My husband and I were way over that, with both our incomes combined until I suddenly and unexpectedly became disabled, and now will retire early at 55. My income disappeared, and it will be a few monthes before disability checks will start arriving. We'll still do just fine on that though, especially here in Arkansas, where house prices are still very reasonable, land prices are reasonable, it is a good standard of living. -

This economy sucks and it's not fair, you don't work to save money anymore....you work to keep a roof over your head and survive.....no extras....I'm sick of it!

I can't save any money....I literally work to keep us fed and a roof over our heads and I make good money for a single Mom....it sucks...I should be able to save. It is just so hopeless, not having much to look forward to anymore but another day of work.
Venting Jim...sorry...I'm just really ticked off about everthing and now I have to leave for work.
Have a good day!

I don't know how people can live on anything less than $75,000!
