    I love ice cream so there was no question about what kind of wedding cake we were having. My hubby likes pancakes so we had some at the reception as well, rolled up with sugar in the middle; traditional Icelandic style. :-)

    Well, I am getting married in less than a month! LMAO!
    the cake - little I can do about that - the mother in law is making it. I'd love to do ice cream, but it would never survive the 5 hour car ride from their house to ours! LOL

    Ouch! That's a long drive. Hope the car doesn't break down. Although..... you could always order an "extra" cake, just for you, from some place close to where you live or are having the ceremony. :-)

    That's not a bad idea....see, we're getting married in 3 weeks, but our reception isn't until the end of September - which is what mother in law is making the cake for.
    We could get an ice cream cake for the ceremony!
