There are so many children out there that need good homes and it would be great if they could all find loving homes, also there are alot of adults out there who for some reason can't have their own children but would love to have a child to love and support. I am all for adoption and if I had more money and could then I would adopt a child myself -

I don't know if I'd call it awesome or not, but I think it's a good thing for the kids, especially if they were destined to live in an orphan home for the rest of their lives. But that's only if their adoptive parents take good care of them, and love them as if they were their own children.
But if adoption is the ONLY solution to unwanted pregnancies, then that's not cool. That leaves way too many unwanted children and babies in orphan homes or wherever they're called... -
raves Jul 19, 2008 04:49PM GMTYes, that was my implication~ lots of pro-life people say "if you don't want the baby, put it up for adoption". Because apparently it's murder to kill the undeveloped fetus in your own womb. If abortion were outlawed, and adoption were the only solution, then there would be way too many unwanted miserable children.

raves Jul 17, 2008 03:02AM GMTI don't think that, I think that some choices are made for the best interest of the child and it takes alot of guts for someone to put their baby up for adoption, look at all the parents who beat and abuse their children and then think about if they were put up for adoption how much better off they would be
