Cracked's 6 most over hyped threatsThe news media does a great job of contorting and construing threats to America. It's how they make their money. This makes it exceedingly difficult to understand what is truly a problem on the horizon and what's hog wash.
Can you think of any big threats for the past that never materialized? Do you think Cracked's list is accurate or pure crap? Read the article and give me your thoughts SodaHeads.

Answered Some of the above...
The gay marrige is dead on. Media diseases is dead on.
5% of
1,000,000,000(aprox. pop of islam) = 5,000,000 people, that is still a
lot of people that want to blow themselves up. It is still a major
threat. Chavez, is looking to become a dictator for life, he is
spending 1,000,000 a month in buying weapons and he has signed a mutual
defense pact with Iran, so he is a threat as well. However I do agree
that N. Korea is a bigger threat than we are giving them credit for.
And
Iran... He is dead on about who the real power player is, but the fact
that Ahmadinejad thinks that it is his job to hasten the return of the
12th Imam still makes him a dangerous person. -
Answered Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad
I always thought it was funny that we even listen to this guy---- hes just a cover for the theocratic rulers that run everything. I do believe that they are a dying breed and the younger generations of Iran are ready to throw out the theocracy in the coming years. -
Answered B.S media diseases like SARS and
this should be SARS and bird flu.
Oh boy does the media love playing into the "DEADLY DISEASES". The numbers are a joke...SARS kills less people than the common flu does.

This is beyond over-hyped. How does this affect anyone other than that constituency?
