If today was 0 degrees outside and the forecast for tomorrow was twice as cold, how cold would it be???

    It depends on whether the temperature given is in Fahrenheit or Celsius. If it is Fahrenheit, then 0 degrees Fahrenheit is equal to approx. -17.8 degrees Celsius. Double that, and you get -35.6 degrees Celsius, or -32 degrees Fahrenheit. If the temperature is Celsius, then 0 degrees Celsius is equal to 32 degrees Fahrenheit. So twice as cold would be 16 degrees Fahrenheit, or approx. -8.8 degrees Celsius.

    I guess in order to know that you'd have to know what temperature it was before it turned 0 degrees. And by "before" I mean when you started keeping track of the temperature.
