Britney Spears Gives Custody of Children to Kevin Federline- Why did she do it?

Britney Spears has officially given up legal custody of her two children, Sean Preston (2 years) and Jayden James (18 months), to her ex-husband Kevin Federline. KFed was not planning on fighting for full custody, but was pleasantly surprised by Britney's decision. Spears will be allowed visitation rights to see her children. While battling with her bipolar disorder, it's probably in the best interest of the kids not to be under her supervision, or lack thereof.

    Answered Britney gave her kids to KFed because it's in the best interest of the kids.

    It takes a long time to stabilise after been diagnosed with something like Bi Polar.. It's definately in their best interests that they reside with their father until she fit and well.

    it is most likely in their best interest at this time., it must have taken allot to agree to that., she will see them. and hopefully they will get back together and become a family again. kids need the both parents there.

    I think it is a mix between one and two because every mother wants whats bes t for their children but she also wants to party without the worry of her kids. Even though she is a train wreck I think Brittany cares about her children

    I have never been around anyone with this bipolar disease until last night--I had witnessed my neighbor being taken away in an ambulance,screaming and kicking,this behavior was shocking to say the least, until the kids told all of us neighbors that had gathered ,that this parent suffered with bipolar.I think that if Brittany is dealing with this bipolar and she goes through all these constant changes,than it is a good decision that she does not have custody of the children.Maybe Kevin could not handle all these changes and that could be a reason that he wanted to divorce from her,does that make him a bad person? NO! If I was put in that position I do not know if I could handle it--for all of you here at SodaHead who are dealing with bipolar or living with some one who has this condition--I tip my hat to you,and I send a prayer to you.
