    I tried that when I was in 5th grade. All I could solve was one side. and yes, I did that changing the stickers thing to.

    i had the best record in the school. Then i saw an old paper article.. my hubby won a contest .. the whole freekin town wher we live now, he won $$, i thought i was good until i saw the article.

    Maybe if you locked me in a room for 3 years and that was all there was to do...I don't have a very long attention span and I don't have the patience to try and figure one of those out...
    I know kids that can solve them in like...a minute - it's ridiculous. At my school, it was like a fad for a couple of months and people were finding how to do it online and stuff like that...like I said, ridiculous.

    Two great ways:

    1. Taking it apart and putting it back together.

    2. Peeling off the colored stickers and pasting them back on the right sides.

    #1 Has the advantage that it doesn't wear out the stickers and you get to see how the thing really works.

    I could do 2 sides in a few seconds, the whole thing, not a piece of cake but could do it, it just took a long time! Of course I haven't tried in over 20 years.
