When I first came to Ohio, the company put me up in a hotel for six weeks. I was at the bar one Friday evening, when this lovely girl came in with a friend. I asked her to dance and we spent the rest of the evening enjoying companionship. I did get her phone number before she left, but at the time I was in the middle of a messy divorce, so I didn't call. A couple of weeks later I came into the same bar later in the evening, she was sitting there with another guy, talking. So I ordered a beer and sat alone. She got up and was about to walk past me, I turned and said Hi! She stopped and said Oh, I didn't see you there. She sat down next to me. We talked for a long time, then she asked me what I was doing over the weekend, I said I had no plans, so she invited me to a picnic. We've been together for almost 25 years now.
I found out later she had never been in a bar by herself ever, she had been looking for me. Well she found me. -

Ready for this? She was my step-sister! We never lived under the same roof, because I was in the navy when her dad met and married my mother... came home on leave and met this gorgeous babe - the first kiss DID seal the deal. We've been married for 33 years. -

30 years ago we met in choir practice ... well my eyes met her ... she didn't know then what she found out later ;-)
she was a freshman in college and i was a freshman in high school
it took a few years but we finally dated then ... you know -

We were at school. I was on the bottom of the staircase, he was at the top of the staircase. I looked up and saw him, he was starring at me. Then he walked down the stairs and introduced himself. I love telling that story :)
