Princeton Review Party Schools-- Does a Universities party school rank effect your decision?
When it comes time to choosing what University you'd like to attend, the choice can be very difficult. Aside from actually visiting the campuses you have in mind, there is no good way to know much about the school without a personal reference or visit. Luckily, Princeton Review has been publishing reviews of colleges all over for just this reason, with statistics and descriptions about each campus to help the entering college student decide whether the school would be a good fit. One of the most popular reviews is how the school ranks as a party school. Attending a top party school is very important to some college kids, and not so much to others... so I want to know... Is attending a party school important to you?-

Answered No, its party school ranking would NOT effect my decision.
My sister's first choice for a university was Berkley, which only has a 24% acceptance rate. She then applied to UCSB (University of California Santa Barbara), to which she was accepted and plans to attend, though she has to put up with our dad making remarks about it being a party school. You shouldn't have to judge a school on it's party stats, but it is something to keep in mind if you choose to actually study there. -

What the hell? You go to school to learn, not to party. Only immature children would be looking for a party school. School is meant to educate you, not to be a platform for your social life.

You bet it does: the higher the "party rank" the less likely I am to even consider the place.
