What was the biggest movie disappointment this summer?

Entertainmentopia is searching for what our readers, and the SodaHead community think was the biggest disappointment as far as movies go for the very lucrative summer season. What do you think held so much potential only to squander it?

I don't go to the movies, but my 12 year old granddaughter did complain that Spiderman 3 was not to her liking.

I actually would have walked out if i hadn't been with a group.I couldnt believe they messed up Venom so bad.What a let down in fact i'm not even gonna buy it when it comes out and i own the other 2!

Well, my disappointment was Harry Potter The Order of the Phoenix. I don't know if I had such high hopes that it couldn't possibly meet. It was my favorite of the books, but the movie just felt like I was watching the highlights with none of the flavor of the book.

Haven't seen any of those yet! and Im not really interested in seeing rush hour 3 or transformers.... not sure what underdog is about. I'll probably watch the others when i get a chance :)

I rarely go to the movies anymore for the price it cost heck I can wait for it to come out on dvd,as fast as they come out now why spend all that much for popcorn and soda when u can get all that at home and comfort and peace and quiet with out all of the hassle maybe I'm wrong but that sounds like a winner to me.

At this moment I have not seen any of these but wil probably wait to see them when they come out on cable. That way if I don't like them I can just turn them off.

I've only seen Pirates and I loved it. Planning on seeing Rush Hour 3, but the rest I had no desire to see.

I'm afraid that I'm not going to be much help here, I haven't been to the Movie Theatre all summer, and I haven't seen any of these movies yet. Evan Almighty sounded good, if I had of gone, this one would have been my first choice to go see.

I have not seen any of the movies. Of all of them shrek 3 is probab;y the only one I would have gone and seen. Just because I seen the onthe 2.

I didnt see spidar man just could not after seeing the stars so blah about it! and the ending of at world's end..and the what 60 seconds of the hyped keith richards...

Haven't seen some of the other movies listed, but this one just didn't live up to the other Pirates. More about effects really than anything else.
