Burger King employee takes bath in utility sink. Do you trust fast food employees?
A Burger King lost three employees after one videotaped himself taking a bath in the restaurant's utility sink. Someone posted the unidentified employee, naked in the sink, on MySpace. Burger King says two employees were fired, and the third quit. None of them were identified.
The Greene County Health Department says bathing in a sink meant to clean cooking equipment could mean contamination of food.
Enjoy, I could really grab me a Whooper now:

Answered It depends...
it's a dumb question... the employees are only as trustworthy as the manager, who is only as trustworthy as the corporation... so the question should be "do you trust fast food companies?". and in that regard, i don't eat at any of them, so, i guess i don't trust them. but it's not because of the employees. it's because of the quality and contents of the food they serve. -

I guess you could say that I trust them if I don't know them. Like, I was at Taco Bell a few days ago, and I realized that alot of the people from my school had gotten a summer job there. I immediatly walked out, and went across the street to Wendy's. -

Any large organization will have a few employees who are at least 7 pints short of a gallon. The case cited shows that even some supervisors are mentally deficient. I think that a bath in a sink, although very stupid, is less unsanitary the serving food that dropped to the floor (which probably happens several times a week in the majority of restaurants. Pay attention to what you are served. If it doesn't look right ask to have it replaced. -

I never thought about this before, in a way I thought it was goofy but I guess if you are working at Burger King and are 25 years old you are probably a fast food lifer... I don't eat alot of fast food, here in Vegas a fastfood work got arrested for spitting in a Cops coffee.... That makes the bath look tame... I think if I trusted any it would be White Castle... -

Of course, this is the only problem with fast food... *really big eye roll*.
I think it's funny, because I don't eat fast food. And really, at least he's getting clean in the sink. I'm sure thats the most amount of soap that sink has ever seen. -

Answered Yes. I trust them.
Personally, as a post-heart-attck vegetarian, I try to avoid fast-food joints. However, Burger King and Taco Bell are two of the few that offer anything I can eat. Obviously these employees were clowns, which are to be found in any workforce, especially one as large as Burger King's. However, I suppose that, since a minimum wage isn't a living wage, that there fast-ffod workers who are homeless. I don't think we should be so judgemental were this to be their only access to bathing. -

I wouldn't trust anyone who's only motivation for serving me is the promise of minimum wage and a polyester suit that doesn't breathe.
