You can kill yourself!
Many pharmaceuticals are made of a combination of herbs and man made products. The problem with do it yourself natural herbs is that you often do not know if you have an underlying illness. You can unintentionally kill yourself or make yourself dangerously worse. Many herbs are bad for the liver, what if you didn’t know you had liver problems. You can also make your arthritis worse with some herbs. There are literally thousands of harmful examples. My husband went over 50 years not knowing he was born with only two valves going to his heart, as he got older he paid no attention to the occasional fluttering or speeding up of his heart beat, he just chalked it up to getting older. Well believe it or not he nearly killed himself taking green tea pills and eating vitamin energy bars in lou of not enough time for a full meal. Between the caffeine in the green tea pills, vitamin energy bars and the English tea he had for breakfast he went into A-Fib and ended up in the hospital. Maybe this wouldn’t have been so bad except for the part where he only had two old valves to start with as opposed to three most people have. You can go a good part of your life and not know you have underlying issues. If you are into natural herbs go to a specialist before hand “And” get a complete physical. -

When my husband had his trouble it was terrifying for me until I understood what was going on. I couldn't even function for a while because I thought my big strong husband was going to die.

We are living longer but some of the old remedies worked and our Doctors were never trained in these methods. Certainly not all the herbal remedies are safe thanks to modern day garbage some put together to make money and nothing more. I think if we can find the OLD remedies, most will work.

There are many pharmaceutical companies as well who are raping the lands of places like Africa, where herbs and plants that are rare as it is, are being pulled out, to make 'mock-ups' of recipes that they fairly well stole from the traditional medicine doctors. Plants that the traditional and indigenous people rely on for themselves are becomming extinct (if that is the right word for it), and the companies just don;'t care ~ they have the plants, and will grow large crops that just don;t have the same qualities. All about the money. Scientists all vying for that elusvie cure.
This is why, i guess, so many peole have a poor attitude to these medicines; and such a reluctance to try them.
I would always prefer to go for something that is natural , rather than a lab produced chemicals.
Answered I think most doctors don’t know anything about them.
