Liberalism is almost undefensable at times. Can they even explain their positions at all, and not clearly define to us how they've broken the laws of the United States and of our Constitution?

Weren't they elected by legal voters to represent their constituents. Illegal Aliens have no such standing. They should be calling for more raids and deportation of any ILLEGAL, regardless of his or her race, creed or ethnic origin. The rule of law must prevail. -

They should be put out of office instead of throwing a blind eye to the growing problem. They have essentially put these people in this predicament. The Fed's gov should be reformed and replaced with people that will perform their duty and adhere to their mission. The ones that are here should be treated with dignity and assistance to help transition them and the corps responsible for it should pick up the bill or be shut down. -

I am so sick and tired of hearing poeple cry about raids, illegals, being arrested, illegals families being broken up here in the state, Or how poeple treat illegals poorly.. And don't think I haven't notice that these poeple support obama mostly. I have one question.... Are you retarded? seriously. It's either that or you don't care about this nation... It's one or the other...The reason why I say this ls very easy. On the most basic level of research you can see that areas with large numbers of illegals living in, you will have a huge rise in crime. don't care about crime... ok research amount that hospitals pay for illegals that they have to care for. You know for every free bills some one else pays for it. most likely you. The illegals in this nation serve no reason other then cheap labor. And if every one is good with that, why don't we just round them up and make them into slaves. I mean hell they already work in those conditions, and this way they can keep their families together.. kinda. -

The women waiting close to the border close to when they are to give birth. then when the contractions start they cross over have the kid and our glorious government says the baby is a citizen. Then you have the parents getting in cause we can't seperate them next come the brother and sisters. I was reading somewhere today that an 18 yr old saying he is just trying to keep his family from being deported till he is 21 then there is some kind of program he can apply for them. He was born once the illegal parents and siblings came over. That is a crock. And No I don't believe they are treated worse. As far as entitlements go they get more benifits than the Americans get.

As someone who has been involved in the hiring process for 3 major companies in the last 27 years, what YOU need to understand is this: there are businesses, especially in poor, rural areas of this country that can't find any of you pseudo-patriotic Americans who'll put in a full days work for shit money. Americans feel they are above that. These people will work 12 hours a day for minimum wage, without the spoiled brat bitchiness of pampered Americans who want 15 coffee breaks a day, etc. They are WORKERS, they bust their asses to support themselves and their families, sending money home, and trying to make a life for themselves here, Yes, they're illegal, yes, our minimum wage is a fortune to them---thats why they come here!---but some of these companies have no choice but to hire them because nobody else will do the job. Do you want MORE legal citizens unemployed?? Or would you rather allow hard working individuals to earn a living and eventually pay taxes and become contributing members of society, while allowing businesses to operate? -

I can give ya a company who pays 178 a week, hours are 5:30am to 7:15 pm. and they have no illegals or even immergrants working for them. I worked for them for about a year before I got a better job. So I know we pseudo- americans wil work these jobs. Mainly how the job market is after bush.
And If you are a hiring manager, one of the key things about businesses you know is, there needs to be a market of the product which the comapny is producing. If you have to hire like 100 illegals for for mionamal. maybe you shoudl try hiring 75 legals at a higher rate. And I agree, there are alot of american who are whiny bitches. They would be those under 30.
But work some one for 12 hours for minum is not workers but slaves with perks -

The reason that I couldn't get the local people to work is because the could make almost as much money on welfare. I think there would be plenty of Americans to hire if the people that are scamming the system were shut off.

I was hired on at $15 an hour, only allowed 8 hours a day, if I was needed a 6th day it was straight pay, no time and a half. So lets do some math, $600 a week, single white male tax bracket in New York, I was bringing home a little over $400 a week, it was almost $450 if I worked the 6th day. I know you are saying but why were they paying the illegals more, they were not, you have to come to the realization that employers have to pay for the privilege to hire American Citizens. My $600 check I got costed my employer almost $1000 to draft, for that price he could take on 2 illegal immigrants and eventually he did...
You work in a nice clean cushy office, a place that cannot "get away" with replacing you with the lower 10% of Mexico's citizenry...

I have 20+ years construction experience, since I was 8, I have in some capacity worked, mostly early on with a shovel in a ditch...
In the mid 80's a laborer was worth about $20 an hour, medical benefits and pension on top, an experienced worker could expect $30 to $35 an hour. In the late 80's when we had 2 million illegals running around in this country and we granted them "amnesty", the price dropped for wages. The men I worked with had families, the wife stayed home with the children, they owned homes, they lived a good life for a hard days work. Once the late 80's hit, oddly enough many people lost their jobs because companies had to control the wage issue as new companies took on cheap labor with the flood in the labor pool. These people making good, not extravagant lives, had to adjust, wives went to work, kids were no longer watched, or had an adult example in their lives, some had to give up home ownership, or move to smaller homes combining children's rooms. Then came the mid 90's when wages took a hit again, as now new illegals were entering the workforce AND the effect of more women injecting themselves into the workforce, this time not out of defiance to patriarchal rule, but out of dire necessity. Long story short, we will fast forward to today...
The average laborer makes minimum wage, if said person is a citizen, experience might get you $9...

I lived in New York, do you know what $240 a week after taxes buys you in New York for 40 hours of work?

As for the businesses, they are just reacting to the environment at which they are subject to, my grandfather was distraught when hehad to lay off a portion of his crew just to compete with people hiring illegals. He could have not and then went out of business, then everyone who worked for him could have been out of a job, but he picked and chose those who had families to support and kept them, gave anyone else work if he could afford it...
What I find silly is you are bitching about all the things unionization (a democrat's favorite) has given workers as pampering them....

You whiney assed libs all like to argue that the Constitution says "General Welfare" and take it to mean entitlement programs, the general welfare mentioned in the constitution is meant as to preserve the citizen's way of life. In what way is the government doing it's job by letting massive amounts of people into this country, all this is doing, and I hate to break it to you, it is not all Bush's fault, is eating away at the economy. The way the government is supposed to provide for this general welfare is listed in the articles of the constitution, nowhere does it give the government the right to redistribute public wealth, but it does, however, charge the government with maintaining the country's sovereignty and being responsible in respect to immigration, two things that your stance on this issue undermines...

More and more jobs are being lost to them and we have people saying Americans won't take the jobs they are doing. You tell me what American won't take anyjob over no job when he or she has a family to feed. When it was just my son and I, I worked more than a few jobs which were minimum wage or less had many dr. bills for him yet somehow we made it. I didn't fight when the last job I had hired me on at less than $7.00 an hr. It was better than what I was getting on unemployment. It did lead over the years to better wages but it was through hard work and proving myself that I had a wage where things were much better. THough as you pointed out it was an office job. My husband was just in CA the last few days trying to get a load(truck driver) out. At the produce wharehouse he was at waiting, he said he was the ONLY white guy there the rest were Mexican drivers trying to get loads. They are advocating breaking a federal law. Also they are aiding criminals by advocating this. Both the illegal's are criminals, and the employer is for hiring them. We should be fighting to deport the illegal's not looking for ways to make things easier for them. We need to build the fence and put the national guard there close together so there isn't much space for someone to get through. It would free up more work for all those American's who have lost their jobs. With as bad of shape as many people are in they would be glad to have these jobs that the illegal's are taking. Come on people wake up already. We won't have a country with the way things are going.
