Do you think Obama IF elected will attempt to silence his detractors, ie, Hannity, Rush, Coulter etc?
"Senator Obama does not support re-imposing the Fairness Doctrine on broadcasters." This is what the leftist media is reporting! This is waht the leftist media is NOT reporting!
"He considers this debate to be a distraction from the conversation we should be having about opening up the airwaves and modern communications to as many diverse viewpoints as possible. That is why Sen. Obama supports media-ownership caps, network neutrality, public broadcasting, as well as increasing minority ownership of broadcasting and print outlets

What are they going to do? Ignore the Constitution of the United States or try to amend it? This won't fly because all the right wingers could do a lot of damage, too, when their in power.

Answered If they are Fair and Balanced, there is nothing to worry about
Which we know is not true. The liberals control most of the news with a few exceptions. Most of the newspapers, 99% of the public schools and colleges, congress, and now they want to control the internet and the radio. What a bunch of hypocrites. -

barack grew up with Marxist rhetoric which states that class equality must be reached at all cost. And that freedom of speech is only free to those empower. The very words he espouses are designed like a net, they control the majority and allow the snake to slitther in and eat the chickens. -

Democrats have already tried with their "Fairness Doctrine"
.....Media Research Center e-mail.....
"Before Nancy Pelosi turned out the lights and skipped town
for a five-week paid vacation--compliments of U.S. taxpayers,
MRC Action Team members got the final word on the so-called
"Fairness Doctrine".
On Thursday, and Friday, the MRC delivered more than 192,000
petitions to eight key members of Congress--including House
Speaker Nancy Pelosi, who has made it clear that she is in
favor of government censorship of the airwaves.
Yes, Dan, we've rattled some cages, and I fully intend on
rattling some more when Pelosi and her cohorts attempt to re-instate
the "Fairness Doctrine".
I say "when", because silencing the likes of Rush, Sean, Laura and others
would remove the last, and greatest obstacle in their liberal push to
incorporate their radical, socialist agenda on the American people." -
