Answered I like my small town / city much better --I don't think I would

Biggest it would be would be Amarillo, that's where hubby's home office is.

No big city for me, nope, never, unhuh!

    That's a tough one. I'd have to think about it. I guess it would depend on the salary a how far from my family it is.

    If it were a warm climate I would, Ma. winters are tough and even when are snow fall is decreased it is still cold as hell.

    I am not sure. I think I could adapt to most anywhere except a very remote area.

    Not for a new job,maybe i would relocate for retirement. DFW is great but i am getting a little tired of it.

    I've lived in big cities and do NOT like them as a place for my personal residence. Further, I sure wouldn't move to the ones mentioned (L.A., NYC, and SF) because they are enclaves of liberalism. Why move to a place where the people would not like me, and I would not be unhappy as a resident?

    Absolutely, but, obviously, the pay would have to be worth it. Apartments in NY and San Fran are ridiculously expensive!

    Yes, if I made enough money to live well. (there's plenty to do for free but housing is usually outrageous) I would have to wait unitl my kids grad from HS, since they're almost done. I may have to move without my husband though, LOL. IDK... if I made enough that he wouldn't have to work I bet he'd be OK w/ it too.

    SF in a heartbeat, NY - never, too many rats in too small a space, LA-crazy there (will say they do have some of the most spectacular car wrecks I have ever seen)

    I've enjoyed rural life and I've lived in small towns all over the place - but the amenities of a city are too fantastic for me to do it on a permanent basis.

    I live roughly 30 miles outside of Atlanta. I love Atlanta BUT would not want to live downtown. I have lived pretty close to downtown before and it was OK, but just not my thing. You could not pay me enough to move to New York City.
