Have you ever "Tap Danced" or taken tap dancing lessons ?

Have you ever "Tap Danced" or taken tap dancing lessons ?

ever had a hidden desire to tap dance ? perhaps you've already taped danced or taken lessons --have the lessons helped, did you ever do anything more with the Tap dancing , progress to something else?

    Ah, I love tap dance! I did it for many, many years. Then I came to a small town where the studios are retarded and do ballet only or just ignore potential older students(I'm only 21). I love to do toe stands. ^_^

    Yes as a child I took Tap Dance and then in college I took a class for fun...

    Funny... my little girls are now in tap and I found my old tap shoes from college dusted them off and danced with my little ones. It was so much fun... well until I fell on my tushy.

    Tap and ballet thru teen yrs and banged drums in school band .
    I always have the desire to dance when there is music.
    Did not progress to a professional level but did not want to. I just love music and dance. keep percussion instruments in media room, when there is a gathering we can play along to the music

    any dance lessons are not a waste of money..at the very least you are learning gracefulness by being taught thru dance how to carry yourself. every dance step you learn makes your body happy

    Learning to tap dance and play the drums were on my "to do" list but I didn't get around to either one. I did, however, take Irish dancing lessons and can do a mean Irish jig.

    I have nerve damage in my left hand very slight but can't control the stick..maybe just can't teach an old dog new tricks-LOL but I bang on the bongos and a couple of African drums, I love percussion instruments...Maggie you bring the dance and the pipes and I'll get an Irish drum and some beaters YEA

    But will be starting lessons on Sept 12th at age "48" --never too old to learn something new. Or something you've always been interested in.
