Is the Democratic Party still the party of Roosevelt and Kennedy or have they moved away from the traditional Party ideals of the 40's, 50's and 60's?

Answered None of the above
The Democrat Party in sync with Kennedy and Roosevelt? The Democrat Party would kick these two to the curb as being DINO's. The current Party is so far "left" Kennedy would become a Republican. They are not called the "Party of Defeat" because they love America!
If I were a Democrat, I would hold my head down! If it were me, I would become a McCainacrat!
Shame on this Party for deserting America for political gain!
Answered Not on your life...
This is not the party of my Father or Grandfather. It has been hijacked by far left socialist who want to change the Government into a huge “redistribution of the wealth” taking money from the poor and giving to the rich Robin Hood style.Although this sound good in theory and worked in Medieval days when assets were inherited.
America was founded on the principle the harder you work the richer you become.
The present day Democrats are taking away the incentive for people to improve their lives by over taxing the people that ACTUALLY PAY TAXES and giving it to the people who NEVER DID PAY TAXES thus taking away any incentive for them to actually get an education, a good paying job, start their own business and make something of them selves and their children.
As a life long Democrat the Republicans are looking better with Bush and his henchmen soon to be gone.
If McCain-Palin will do as they say and sweep clean the pork barrel and corruption I may defect to the Republicans.
