Answered It doesn't matter, I will vote for a lesser candidate, anyway.
Even with being present in the senate for the voting process he has only recorded a total of 17 votes in total. he has either been "present" or abstained from all the other votes. besides that fact, he also is just to young and politically green to run the nation. in the Saddleback forums, obama was vastly out done by the elder, wiser, and wittier McCain. Specifically speaking, the question that really made me see the lack of experience for Obama was "What has been the toughest decision of your life?" As an answer, Barack stated that his toughest decision was voting against the Iraq earliest Iraq legislation that came to the senate in his term.... to the same question McCain answered by telling the story of him being held captive in Vietnam. He was given the opportunity to be released and chose to stay with the rest of the men in his company. that shows the sheer experience that McCain holds over Obama. the choice really is simple. Obama is the lesser candidate and if he is to win the election it will be solely on superficial reasons. -

Answered All of the above
Well done...
One of the most significant pieces of his resume that get sooooo little attention is that he is a Constitutional Scholar. First, teaching Constitutional Law forces the professor to truly understand the "Socratic Method" of education. Second, he understands the purpose and intent of the Constitution of the United States And finally last eight years have enabled the most egregious assault on our constitution in the nations history (not an exaggeration see Bush administration vs. the U.S. Constitution).
Wouldn't it be nice to have a president who actually took his oath of office to heart. -

Answered Undecided
Yeah - he has changed things alright! I am sooo mad. It is historic for Palin, and a move forward for women.
Dear DNC, Campaigns
If Palin wins the VP slot - it will define women's role for decades - it would renew the liberal fight starting almost at square one!
SHAME ON THE KENNEDY, PELOSI ELITES OF THE DNC AND OBAMA! WE HAD OUR GAL!
AND WITH 18 MILLION VOTES - OBAMA COULD NOT SEE HER AS HIS VP?????
SHAME, SHAME ON ALL OF YOU! Shame on your personal goal to throw away the women's movement Barack!
Shame on those more concerned with "passing their mantle" and their biographies!
Democrats will scream: "Hey ladies! You don't want HER defining you! Vote for me!"
BUT WHAT DID OBAMA AND THE DNC DO TO MAKE OUR MLK DREAM AND JUSTICE HAPPEN???
NOTHING BUT THROW US AWAY AND ALLOW PALIN IN - WHO JUST MAY WIN!
Shame on you all!
With Clinton's strong support from the beginning, this just was not that complicated. You all got selfish. 1968 all over again! -
raves +1 Sep 04, 2008 07:22PM GMT (edited)No - those were the early polls and strenghtened in 2006 and 7, right up UNTIL Obama entered the race, she lost early some support to him as he wooed the youth and with Oprah - and she did well thru the primaries since, just not enough to gain back her losses from his early gains.

raves +1 Sep 29, 2008 11:28AM GMTHey Molly this has nothing to do with Gov Palin this has to do with the Democrat Party it self....they wanted Obama they got him they just don't have my vote any longer I do not trust the or the party any longer as well and I don't see Sen Clinton hanging from the rafters trying to stop this either and we won't ,she will what she has and that is it.
