Rush or Queensryche?

Rush's first album came out in 1974 "Rush" Rush's high points include 2112 and Moving Pictures. Queensryche's debut EP "Queensryche" came out in 1984. Queensryche's concept album Operation: Mindcrime is considered their best album along with the follow up Empire. They are two of the finest progressive rock bands.

THE FIRST 8 ALBUMS BY RUSH WERE AWSOME,AFTER THAT THEY GOT A LITTLE TOO KEYBOARD HEAVY AND NEW WAVY,STILL A GREAT BAND THOUGH.

Oh it has to be Rush.

Tommy did I tell you that I saw Rush 5 times from1977-1982.

The first time I was front row in a small theater in Fort Worth. It was a great show!!

Love both bands but out of these two...Queensryche! I feel sorry for Queensryche cause Rush is obviously going to win. Hey people Rush isn't the only prog band you know! There's better prog bands out there than them, like Mastodon:

Anyway now some Queensryche

But probably the biggest influence to 80s prog and the prog metal genre is Fates Warning.
