Asshat of the day! 9/24/2008?
Wearing a cape, mask and surgical gloves, a would-be bank robber succeeded only in turning heads Tuesday after he walked into a Toronto branch, demanded cash, fled before staff could get it, and left a box filled with drywall that he said was a bomb.Police were first called after the man walked into the TD Canada Trust bank at 904 Queen Street East, at Logan Avenue, around 3:11 p.m., Toronto police Staff Sergeant Donald Hale said. The man demanded cash, but fled soon after before crews could pass any over. As he left, he made a threat.
“They did not have time to comply with the demand,” Staff Sergeant Hale said. “When he did [leave], he indicated that a package that he left behind contained explosives.”
Taking no chances, Toronto police pulled out all the stops, calling in the Bomb Squad and Emergency Task Force at 3:26 p.m. and evacuating the area. Around 6 p.m., after x-raying the package, police found it to be full of bits of broken drywall.
The street reopened around 6:45 p.m. There were no injuries.
Witnesses reported the mask was a replica of the one worn by villains in the Scream series of horror movies, based on artist Edvard Munch's famous piece, The Scream. The mask has been used in several bank heists across the United States.

Answered Yup, he's an asshat!
Pretty unoriginal I would say. Using the mask from Scream......didn't put much effort into it.....asshat for sure.....and I only give him a 2 on originality...and that's only because the "bomb" was a box filled with pieces of drywall....that was different...a carpenter maybe??
