The more Obama appears in the media, the better for McCain. Place them next to each other, and Obama reveals that he is only image--and a false one at that. Appearances are deceiving. He might attempt to "look" presidential, but a President must be more than impressive in appearance. He lacks experience and the qualifications necessary for the position--and it showed last night, and it will show in the next debate. I knew McCain would have to admit that a President should be able to handle a debate on Friday night after the congress goes home without a deal. Staying in Washington and wringing his hands or threatening to bomb Iran will not solve anything. Of course, shutting down the entire government except the war and a couple of entitlements won't solve anything either. -

This was a bad week for McCain, and I think a bad performance tonight could all but kill his chances at winning the Presidency. As much as I've railed against this version of John McCain, I actually feel a little bad for the old fart. I mean, he once had a reputation as an honorable and decent man (honorable and decent as far as politicians go), but thanks to his turning coat to win an election, his legacy is now forever tarnished. And his legacy is what's most important to him. That said... I couldn't be happier that he and his campaign are imploding right now. They (McCain/Palin) are not what this struggling nation needs right now. -
raves +6 Sep 26, 2008 09:42PM GMTI bet mccain tries to stay off the economy entirely though and heads headlong into forgien affairs.. its his area of experties.. both of their 'games' may be off though (but mccain has more memory to pull on it seems from what Iv heard) due to the last 48 hours...... BUT Iv also seen mccain make alot of memory errors so we will see.

raves +8 Sep 26, 2008 09:49PM GMTgood point.. I just hate to get my hopes to high.. the last 48 hours have been so clarifying to me of what kind of a person McCain would be as a president not to mention how they are doign with palin.. its crystal clear to me that this guy is a more loose cannon than any Iv ever seen.. but... I dont know we will see.

Whats with the Obama picture you fear monger... anyway McDeregulation threw a hail mary trying to trick folks into thinking he had something to do with the bill making headway. Too bad he isn't even on the banking committee meaning he didn't do shit, but take photos to make himself look good. John “Czechoslovakia” McCain has lost this election and there is nothing you can do about it... this blog is evidence of that. -

I was for McCain for a long time, but I have lost all respect for the guy. I honestly believe that he would sell his own mother in order to be President. This move was nothing more than attempt to move up in the polls, not to fix the problems. He is in a panic mode !!!
