Please, let's not be mellodramatic, for everyones information, the deaths in Iraq is nothing compared to the deaths during WW2. Count all the Iraqi deaths and they don't compare to one huge battle in WW2. For anyones information, death is a most personal thing. One soul leaves the body, that's it. As for hauntings, I would be willing to bet that all those evil leaders, whether dead or alive, will be haunted by those people that were killed because of them. And I don't mean GW either. GW realises that those people involved in 9/11 owed us a blood debt. And, yes, they all will have to be killed, or else, they will keep coming back to kill as many of us as they can. Wake up people, those people want to kill us anyway they can, unless we stop them by killing them. You cannot talk to someone, or negotiate with some one that want to kill you. How do you negotiate with that kind of mentallity? I know you want to kill us, but do it a little at a time? -

It won't be THE most haunted place on earth, but might rank up there with the most haunted. What about Williamsburg and Jamestown VA? Virginia (my born and raised home state) is one of the most haunted states because of all the wars that happened here. I guess that's why I have such an uncanny ability to communicate with the spirits, since they're always around me.
Oh, HAHA! I didn't see who asked this question until after I answered it! My answer doesn't change though. MUAH!!

It also has so much to do with the overwhelming sense of sadness and not just from a small location, but an entire continent, and a complete case of attempted genocide... which is highest in terms of pure numbers (of deaths) as well, incidentally.

No many of the passed on spirits that do not go directly to the light or get lost in the valley of death . Go threw a sort of limbo that take them back to a time when they felt safe or a time that was just before there passing .Much of the time the soul is pulled right out of its body so fast that the spirit dose not know it has past and continues to loop over and over its past life not realizing it has past until something happens to finish its unfinished business. Some spirits go on another plain and become energy negative or Positive. A haunting is not necessarily a spirit or ghost but a residue of energy left behind. A repeating recording. Some spirits are stuck have so much invested in the life they live that even in death they try to continue with the same thing that caused there death. Then there is just those that don't know there dead!
