Is it true Porn movie help people get less of Rape?

my friend say that that true Porn Movie and Sex Toys and dirty book
Adult sex store help people to less Rape i mean to try people to stop Rape that mean porn stuff help people to stop Rape is it true?

    I don't think so. If someone is a rapist, they are not really wanting sex. They have deep issues that need to be addressed.

    nice theory! but nothing helps a rapist! a rapist was either molested as a child or abused sexually beyond means! my theory is a rapist, will stalk a victim that probably looks like the one who did terrible things to him when he was growing up so that they have their revenge! sorry but nothing helps a rapist!

    I read an article on either Slate.com or Salon.com that the predictions that the increasing prevalency of pornography would lead to an increase in sexual assault have not come true. According to the article the incidence of rape has remained the same, or decreased, in the past few years. (I can't remember which.)
    According to the article, the effect of so much pornography is that for young people, especially young men, sex has lost emotional significance and there is more emotional distance and loneliness. It was an interesting article.

    Based off of the studies that I have read countries where porn and masterbation is legal statistically have lesser crimes of rape, pedophelia, hebephilia, ephebophilia and incest commited. Countries where porn is illegal all of these crimes skyrocket and it is believed because of all of the sexual fustration. Also in many of these countries the victim, which is usually female, is blamed for the crimes commited against them. The female is accused of tempting the male with unholy desires and is therefore punished.

    In certain countries like Iran, if a woman is raped it dishonors her family and she must be executed (by her family) in order for the family to regain it's honor and respect. Pretty friggin sick huh?

    I would say no, because for a rapist the thrill comes from the struggle and dominance, things a rapist won't get out of a movie or toy. Maybe a real doll he could beat around would work, I don't know. I hate rapists......
