I know Ford was out of the 25 year range but I remember him always falling down and it was so funny to watch him stumbling around but Reagan was my favorite president through my adult years.

Now if I remember correctly, the world didn't fall apart nearly as much then. Yes there were gas lines and some recession but nothing compared to right now.

When Carter said 'we need to tighten our belts, get the National debt paid off, then we can breath a little easier.' But people chose to listen to Reagan who took us on a borrow and spend 'drunk' that has caught up with us today. Reagan was the worst President in American history. Carter, one of the best! And we are paying the price now.

President Clinton, his extra-circular activities notwithstanding. He did what he said he would do, and left office with the country/economy/foreign policy/diplomacy in better shape than it was before he was elected. He left office with a surplus of 128 billion dollars, and a plan to get rid of the deficit.
