McCain relied on his tired, old rhetoric as usual. Nothing more, nothing less.
Did anyone notice how McCain is aging even more so than just 6 months ago? He walks like he's got a rod up his back, and he is stiff in the arms and neck. I don't think he's EVER going to make it through his first 4 years. And you know what THAT means... that dipsh**t hockey Mom Palin will be in charge. That is a very very scary thought for ANY rational person- democrat OR republican!
I did like what McCain said about buying out all the bad mortgage loans for people who are going to lose their homes... but guess what? THATS what should have been done BEFORE giving them (the lenders) a 700 BILLION dollar bailout! So I don't really believe McCain will do that. I think he is just saying what he thinks we all want to hear... -

Obama for President!!!
McCain has too much experience (near death). McCain stands for the same old shiggity. And who in their right mind would want Palin for President. She is a slick talker and between the two of them America will become the world's biggest enemy. A bully is more talk than substance and that is what McCain and Palin what to be. Bullies usually end up getting their butts kicked. Don't elect a bully. We need strength but not bullies. Obama has strength and courage, plus lots or smarts. Besides Obama does not toddle when he walks. Is Mccain wearing depends?.
America needs new thoughts and ideas and new leadership with a fresh prospective. Not the same "old" stuff! God Bless America and God Bless Obama!!! -

Once again we have McCain displaying his arrogance when he tells an audience member that he probably wasn't aware of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, he then goes on to address this person by the wrong name, maybe he should have carried his pad with him, you know, the one he had to scribble on throughout the debate. Later McCain again shows us his diplomacy skills or lack thereof when he refers to Obama as "that one". Now is this really the person we want dealing with a world crisis or world leaders he disagree's with. McCain boasts he can fix Social Security but doesn't say how, again maybe his scribble pad would have helped. He also boasted that he would capture Osama Bin Laden, he knows how yet he won't share his plan. After the debate when Barack and Michelle were greeting the audience members, shaking hands, answering questions, taking pictures and showing their appreciation of the crowd. McCain spent all of 4 minutes shaking hands and quickly exited stage right. I think he must have realized he needed to change his Depends after the spanking Obama gave him. McCain didn't earn the nickname "McNasty" for nothing. This is an old grumpy man with old antiquated ideas with only his lobbyists cronies benefitting from any legislation he might enact. Heck his pick of Palin as his VP speaks volumes about his inability to make choices, "Country First", my ass!

Answered None of the above
That was the most annoying debate I have ever seen.
They both reminded me of two little boys on the playground beating their chests and pointing fingers at the other. I was waiting on them to measure their penises to see who's was the biggest.
I really wanted them to tell me HOW they would fix the "economic crisis" instead of telling me there was one. I wanted an ABC plan of just how they would do it.
And if Johnny Mac said "my friends" one more time, or if BO had said "uh" again.....grrr, enough to make a Fairy angry.
So, in my book, nobody won, they both were terrible. I'd rather watch the VP candidates again. -
