MoveOn and the Democratic Party Officials wanted Obama as their Nominee long before the Iowa Caucus's. That's why the nomination process with the Super Delegates was "Stacked" heavy against Hillary from the beginning.
Why do you think for the very first time ever, at least in my lifetime of 60 years, so many Democratic Party Officials were constantly screaming for Hillary to shut her Primary Campaign down and concede the Nomination to Obama?
This of course was helped along by the Far Left Liberal "Obama News Network" also known as "MSNBC" with Chris Matthews and Keith Olberman attacking and making derogatory statements nightly about Hillary Clinton.
Everybody in the Nation should have picked up on this totally disgraceful conduct by the Democratic Party Officials and Super Delegates when for the very first time history a Democratic Primary candidate, Hillary, only got "FAIR" treatment from 1 News Network and that network was FOX News.
They were the only news network that gave Hillary a "Fair Shake" and that's why now they are the only News network I will watch.
Yes I know they are conservative for the most part but they do not slant their news to be so "BLANTANTLY" bias against a Candidat...Anne....

This mind you coming from an 8 year old little girl that likes to sit with her uncle (me) and watch the news at night whenever she's visiting. It floored me and I had to take a little time to answer her.
If an 8 year old can pick up on the bias against Hillary then adults should have.
If there ever was discrimination in any campaign then it was this one and it was against the Woman running for the nomination NOT the Blackman that was also running and to think that this discrimination was coming from their own Party Officials not the Opposition party, as well as certain Press and Network News Media.....That's why for me it's McCain all the way now.
By the way my little neice really likes McCain, she said to me one night "he really looks like he'd be a nice person".....
You never do know what's going to come out of the mouths of kids, but sometimes it's a lot smarter then what comes out of the mouths of adults!(less) -
raves Sep 23, 2008 04:19AM GMTYes, it is also not a coincidence that Obama's acceptance speech "just happened" to coincide with the anniversary of MLK's I Have a Dream speech, even though the date was chosen months in advance. Why? They knew they wanted to be able to say they had the first AA nominee...and bolster that momentous occasion with an appropos connection to MLK...so it was always going to be Obama from the beginning and they all cheated and screwed Hillary to ensure it.

I was very disappointed in the Clinton team, and I'm sorry that she couldn't have been more upstanding. I'm glad she didn't get the nomination at this point. Unfortunately, she isn't fighting very strongly for the dems, which just shows her bad attitude. It shouldn't have been about winning, it should've been about helping our nation. -

The DNC believes that Clinton supporters have no alternative but to toe the party line. The DNC tries to scare voters (especially women) into believeing that we will lose valuable rights if a republican gets into office!!

We have had 8 yrs of republican rule (thanks to the last two crappy canidates the DNC has offered) and rights have not eroded to a misreable level!!

At the same time, in a move that took some participants on the call by surprise, she also clarified that she was not asking their help in paying off her personal loans to the campaign.
Interestingly, Hillary also suggested that she would soon be making public statements about the media coverage of the campaign, as well as the ways "women were discussed," saying that she would "be doing more on that as we go forward."
"I am going to do everything I can to ensure victory for Senator Obama," Hillary told her fundraisers on the call. "I am asking each of you to do the same. I really believe we've got to see a Democrat sworn into the White House this January."

On the topic of her debts, Hillary said: "Many of you also know that my campaign is facing debt. That happens when you're outspent...I have also loaned money to the campaign which I consider an investment...I'm not expecting anybody to help pay that back."
"But I am hoping to get your help in our efforts to pay off our vendors," she continued, adding that "any amount you can give or help raise would go a long way" towards doing that.
Hillary then suggested that she'd be making public statements soon about the media's treatment of her candidacy.
Speaking of the campaign, Hillary noted that "there were a lot of other aspects to it that people are asking about. A lot of real concerns about some of the ways we were portrayed in the media and the way women were discussed."

Lately, there has been a small movement of Hillary Clinton devotees who are now insisting that all of her supporters should now back Barack Hussein Obama for President of the United States, some of them are headed by none other than our late (Barack Hating) contributor Lin Farley. Her motivation, to all appearances, stems from the fact that Mrs. Clinton, after being robbed out of receiving the nomination by a pack of rabid Racialist and Liberal sexists, is now endorsing Mr. Obama, and will soon be actively campaigning with him. Many of these new apologists claim that it is simply a matter of “loyalty” to Hillary Clinton which motivates them so. The problem with this approach is that it presupposes the propriety of ‘honoring’ a politician, even if doing so goes directly against ones’ morals, even without the slight consideration of THEIR (the politicians) motivations. First, let’s look closely at where this dubious concept of ‘political fealty’ really comes from and then we will be able to tackle it’s purport.

Qualified retirement plans such as (401)k's and IRA's will be exempt from capital gains tax. The first million dollars or so (I believe it's $2-million but I don't have the figures in front of me) will be exempt from inheritance tax, as will spouse-to-spouse inheritance. And anyone earning under $227,000/year will see their income tax bill go down.

NEW YORK (CNNMoney.com) -- John McCain and Barack Obama have starkly different philosophies about tax policy - how to raise the revenue needed to support government programs, spur growth and ensure economic fairness.
But voters really want to know one thing: How would the presidential candidates' views trickle down to their tax bills? A report released Wednesday by a nonpartisan policy group in Washington, D.C., takes a big first step toward answering that question.
According to the Tax Policy Center's findings, the common assumptions most people make about the plans of McCain, the presumptive Republican nominee, and Obama, the Democrats' pick, are not wildly off-base.
McCain: The average taxpayer in every income group would see a lower tax bill, but high-income taxpayers would benefit more than everyone else.

I don't know if I like either right now. I've been known to vote across party lines, but this time around I want to make sure I'm voting for the RIGHT person. I'm not like some people that vote emotionally and fasley believe that ONE person or PARTY can change things.It TAKES "We the People" to change things for the BETTER.
