First of all, it's fiction. But, it's what some of our video games are preparing us for, and what our government doesn't seem to care to prevent.

    to get on our knees and ask for strength to take power away from the enemy within.To crush them.America started going down the drain when prayer was taken out of the schools.We need prayer back in the schools.That is one way to prevent it.

    well said. The founders stated, that our Constitution and Liberty could only be destroyed from within.

    Thank you,JWalden.Our country was founded as a Republic.If I remember my history correctly before public education was dumbed down.Republics are designed to last,never fail.So...Whats up with that? We are being destroyed from the inside.I guess my history book was wrong.

    The Russians hit a snag when oil prices dropped, but they will regroup. Putin is old school and believes in expansion of the Motherland. If oil prices rise, he will have financing for his new defense system and to build new long range bomber fleet. They are doing over flights with TU-95's, their old long range threat now.
    Even the Chinese army could not take and hold the entire country, we are too vast and too many of the isolated areas would never give in. Over time, the invader would suffer huge losses.
    The major threat to take over of our government is internal. Socialism has taken a giant step with the nationalization of banking assets. The next and probably fatal step will be an election of obama.
    Democracy will only be return through revolution if that occurs.

    There are 2 privately owed guns for every man woman child and dog in this country. The cops won't go along, they will side with their neighbors, the firemen, the butcher, the baker, etc. MOST of us are Americans and those of us that "bitterly cling to them" are perfectly willing to stick them up their butts if necessary.

    hmm so that is what it is like when civilians are attacked by a well armed military force.
    America would have to be very weak to be taken by surprise like this.I think you ought to worry more about the Chinese than the Russians J. In fact I am more worried that someone like you is fearful like this. Or am i missing the point, one of my favourite failings.

    Appreciate the boot. I more fear the people who submit blindly to political promises. It does provoke one to ask themselves, would they regroup and fight or succomb.?

    As to the country ? that could change in 3 or more years based on world politics.

    yes I am sure. How you feel about the US is how I feel about the UK. I try not to,maybe with me it is an age thing.This financial fiasco is just the thing to tip us all into chaos.
