Answered Black Cats are just scary, because they are Black Cats
I only get afraid if its dark out side and i see a black cat behind me....other wise i dont care cause i got a two year old black cat named midnight...
but his mom is sooooo pretty! my aunt val has millions of cats and now 6 kittens...the moms name is Josie, her first litter was with my cat and five others...two orange ones who now live with val, one died, and there was a beautiful black and white kitten of that litter that looked exotic and i origionally wanted her but my uncle ran her over on accident...so i chose the other black one who i now have today! but i still would love to have a calico kitten!

I am actually afraid of white cats. They are kind of creepy with that pink bunny nose and blue eyes that look right through you, like they are going to shoot eye lasers at a target just behind your left shoulder.... no , seriously, I had three different white cats as a kid. All of them died; one from a car accident, one from feline luekemia, and one was killed by a neighbors' dog. So I decided that white cats are unlucky for me, or I am unlucky for them.
I did have a black cat with a small diamond of white on her chest. I had that cat for 11 years before she passed away in her sleep. I cried like a baby. Her name was "Janie Jones" after the Clash song.RIP Janie. -

I have two black cats, and i adore them. They were strays, and strangely enough, visited my house one Halloween. The sad thing is that some people don't think the same, so we have to lock our cats up inside every Halloween night so nothing bad happens to them. =\ -
raves +1 Oct 26, 2008 05:28AM GMTI keep my cats in all the time, but even when I did let them out, I kept my black cats in for a good week before Hallowe'en & a few days later just to be safe. My neighbor didn't one year & found her baby hanging from a street sign! An ex-boyfriend of mine, who was a sherrif's deputy, started an animal abuse team that has become very powerful here in prosecuting abusers to the fullest extent of the law. He even got a few laws toughened to be nearly as harsh as those against child abusers, since animal abuse often leads to seriously violent offenses. Please take care of your sweet babies.

raves +1 Oct 26, 2008 02:19PM GMTit's very sad to hear about your neighbor's cats. But it's a good thing about the animal abuse team. My town is very small and quiet, so i probably dont need to lock them up, but it's just to be safe. If i kept my outside cats inside all the time, my inside cat would throw a hissy fit, spoiled brat. haha.

actually if u pick up a black cat and bring him/her into the light u'll notice the brownish coloring on its fur black cats arent black their dark brown so the whole superstition is bogus anyway. besides that what would make "black" cats of all cats cause bad luck? Its stupid and if is true i must be dead cause my mom owned a black cat for 17 years and i walk past a few when going to pickup my sisters kid from skool everyday. I say VIVA LA BLACK CATS
