First I pin point exactly what has made me blue. If it's my own doing, I do what I can to rectify the situation so I can feel better about myself. If it is something out of my control, I do things to get my mind off of it. I'll journal positive affirmations about the person or situation causing me grief, watch some stand up comedy, read a book... whatever I can to get my mind to move on. I have to make it a point to get my mind off things. I tend to fixate and obsess otherwise.
