Calves liver and really really carmelized onions. Haven't had it in years and probably wouldn't be able to keep it down now. My mom made this chicken liver thing that I just loved. You really have to brown the livers and then and cream of chicken soup. put it over noodles. yum. again don't know if I could eat that now either. Ah but thanks for the memories -

Onions I like. liver, never liked. All those veins and blood vessels running through the stuff. Eeew! and always tasted like chalk. Never did understnad hwy anyone would want to eat an organ anyways, Besides. leafy dark-green vegetables are a better way to get iron anyways.
