I watch CNN, MSNBC, BBC, plus I read several news sites like Huffington Post and Grudge Report, and others. I get several stories on an event to get a more acuate idea of what happened, sometimes 2 papers from the same town have totally different takes on stories. I also watch alot of CSPAN.
Sometimes I think they do the news the way they do - 1 little piece each day with no context or perspective, and never any hint of why it's news or what it even means to the average person, just so no one catches on to what is really going on. You have to research to see the bigger picture to see why it matter and what it means. -

allways question, never beLIEve. You can't even trust yourself as your emotions will skew your perceptions. Everybody experiances the same things differently. They may not have an agenda but everyone is biased and will slant things. PBS seems the most critical of politics and governement so thats a plus in their favor but I don't beLIEve whatever they say. -

Don't make me laugh. None of these really report "news" anymore. All they do is give you their point of view regarding a happening. Go back in time to the days of yore, when Walter Cronkite was doing the news and listen to how he reported it without any bias. He gave the facts and let the listener decide for themselves. Now it is all a machine designed to attract the most viewers to charge the advertisers for the potential sale.
I would rather listen to Glenn Beck on the radio, because at least he admits that he is a commentator and not a newsman.
