Do polls load faster now?

Our engineers did some retooling and viewing/voting on polls should load faster now.

Answered I can't tell the difference

In one of the great engineering feats of our time, last night I took the most powerful server out to dinner, spoke quietly in its fan and whispered sweet nothings into its NIC at which point the the server assured me it would make things faster.....

There you go, the secret to better performing systems.

    At work I have a very fast connection and have never had a problem with polls loading slowly. At home and on the road I access the internet through a cellular connection and when it reverts from an EVDO connection to 1xrtt polls would load almost unbearably slow. I am sitting at home, in the middle of nowhere, with a 1xrtt connection and I can tell a huge difference.

    I know that when I leave a comment some of the times. The screen seems to freeze and just sit there forever. Just like when I am typing. I finished typing but all the letters haven't come up on the screen yet. Very annoying!

    P.S. But thanks for trying to improve things and listening to our concerns!
