What do you think about Disney requesting that "God" be removed from the 10 Commandments movie ads played on Radio Disney?

Eisner is no longer in charge and has not been for a while. The stockholders voted him out. But the truth is that God did not select the actors, Prominade Pictures did. So striking the statement "chosen by God" has no bearing on the content of the picture. It is really too bad that people don't read the whole statement but only three words and get all upset that these words may be striken from the entire statement. Some people really need to grow up.

Doesn't matter that Eisner is no longer the man. He started the entire process of turning Disney upside down and inside out. I'm sure Walt would not be happy.
As to has no bearing; then they should let it alone. Some people really should grow up and stop trying to control the entire world and manipulate to their personal liking. Very childish and very dangerous.

The actors weren't chosen by God to play their roles, they were chosen by Prominade Pictures to play their roles. Striking that statement has absolutely nothing to do with the content of the picture. Please tell me, is there ANY intelligent life on this planet? -
Answered What the heck are they thinking???? The movie IS about God you know.
And Disney shows just a little bit more of their true self. I sure as heck would not want them influencing my children.
But, in all honesty, if I wanted to change a civilization for the long run, who would I attack and indoctrinate? The children. They are the future. -

OK I want people to realize that I am not a Christian...
I am one of the people telling Christians that they are being paranoid about people "attacking christianity"...
Keep God out of the court house and government...
But the movie is kind of ABOUT Judeo-Christian Beliefs...
That is rediculous.... -

GET OVER IT! I am so sick and tired of this whole "Don't force God on me" crap. Over 80% of this country is Christian, and 95% believe in a higher power of some kind, so why are we bowing down and catering to the minority? I thought this was a country of democracy, where the majority rules?? Maybe people are offended by prayer and talk of God, but I and many other Christians are offended by God being taken out of everything and being told we aren't allowed to pray when it's our Constitutional right to freedom of religion. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!
Not to mention, if they have such a problem with it why is it presented on Radio Disney anyways????
Okay I'm off my soapbox. -
and that's what i have been screaming the whole time. As much as as it may offend them about talk of god, and how they want it taken out, it offeneds me that they try to take it out of everything. I understand the whole don't shove your religion on me, but don't shove your non-religion on me either. It kills me that kids are not able to say a prayer before lunch now in most school like i did when i was a kid. If you don't like it, just don't do it. Don't ruin it for the rest of us. I wouldn't want to force to someone to pray if they don't want to, just like i don't want them to force me NOT to pray.

I have to say that this catering to PCness is getting rather annoying (think holiday tree rather than Christmas tree for all you Canadians out there). The subject is God so eliminating that particular use of the word seems rather stupid. Just think of "God" as a generic term and then only the agnostics can get offended. -

How can they remove God from the 10 Commandments movie as that is what the movie is about anyway! God is the one who gave the 10 commandments to Moses anyway so it isn't anything that we don't know already. -
