"LOS ANGELES (Oct. 29) - TV viewers hooked on cliffhanger episodes of hit shows such as "Heroes" and "Grey's Anatomy" could be left dangling if writers walk off the job.
With Hollywood writers poised to log off their laptops as soon as Thursday, TV networks were bracing for the need to fill the airwaves with reality shows, game shows and even reruns if a threatened strike devours their script inventory.
Viewers could start seeing an onslaught of unscripted entertainment by early next year, when popular series such as "Desperate Housewives" and "Heroes" run out of new episodes."
So this might mean more Reality TV shows, gameshows, and reruns.
What do you think SodaHeads? Will you keep watching?

I enjoy reality television, so its ok, most tv shows suck. I enjoy Sci fi and reality shows the most. It would be a smart idea for the networks to import some sows from Canada, the UK and Australlia...it would mix things up a bit !!! -

Since reality shows are also scripted I don't know what will be worth watching. The writers need to get their fair share of the profits, five cents per DVD sale is a slap in the face for the writers, many of whom put years into their movies before it's even sold. The studios need to realize that even though the writers are behind the scenes and not the fan favorites, they are the backbone. Without them there is no production. Come on studios give credit where credit is deserved, stop being so greedy. And, no, I am not a writer just someone who sees the truth. Maybe families will start to talk again if there is nothing on TV. -
Answered I might actually turn off the tv and find ways to expand my mind!
Hollywood isn't important to me. The people there actually make me sick . They think they're better than the rest. Snooty jackasses prancing around as if they're what it's all about. Books are good, read some. Do things you like you may find you don't need television. -

About the only TV show I watch is LOST. Other than that I can watch football, baseball, Discovery Channel, History Channel, NASA, Military Channel, oh man the list goes on. We have over 200 channels to choose from so if I really need to watch TV I am sure I can find something with or without those writers.

I don't watch a lot of tv to start with. I do watch CSI, but most of the shows i watch are are Cartoon networks' adult swim, and those are reruns anyway :) and of course all the science and discovery channels :D
