I think both are pretty bad but yeah Marijuana jsut mostly makes you relaxed. Drunk people, although hilarious looking and fun to chill with, are very scary behind the wheel and alcoholics get scary without the drinks... I know weed smokers and drinkers... drinkers scare me more. -

I do not use alcohol nor do I smoke tobacco cigarettes or cigars annoys me that alcohol beverages and cigarettes are sold to people buying gas and headed to the open road where I drive! Sell cigarettes and alcohol at smoke shops, or in bars where people that are smoking cigarettes and drinking alcohol beverage at least get the message to stay off the road or call a cab!

I have never seen a pot head jump up and beat his wife and kids.
I have helped several battered women behind the fact their husbands we alcoholics. How many accidents are behind drunk driving,,,, verses the guy smoking pot that doesn't even go fast enough to wreck... -

Alcohol is a poison, Marijuana is not. The lethal dose of alcohol is clinically defined as the amount that would kill half the population. Most authorities place this dose at about .40%. According to which US Government authority you want to believe, the lethal dose of marijuana is either about one-third your body weight, or about 1,500 pounds, consumed all at once. (so its physically impossible to have a lethal dose). -

But from my experience people that drink to tend to get behind the wheel and cause more damage and when people get stoned they are lazy and don't want to do anything....both are bad but drunk drivers get more publicity then high ones....but they have changed the Driving while intoxicated to driving under the influence for a reason....driving under the influence covers everything -

I have to be careful with this one! From my own personal experience, pot smokers are peaceful, and mellow, while drunks often get violent! I am talking about pot smokers that smoke organic weed, and to not use other chemical drugs. In high school ( a long time ago ), there was a huge number of kids getting drunk and going behind the wheel, while us stoners, mellowed out, ate Doritos, and listened to Pink Floyd, in someones living room.
This is not to say, that Marijuana is not often a stepping-stone for harsher drugs. It's not like it used to be, when I was young.
