Answered No - As long as I get my lollipop after I am okay.
i used to be terrified of needles - i walked (well ran) out of my BCG injection at school a few years ago crying my eyes out. but i'm fine now after a year later, the nurse injecting me told me that she recognised my dad's name on the form and used to be in love with him in primary school.
i laughed so hard right then i never felt the needle. :D -
Answered Yes - I am afraid of a sharp, thin piece of metal penetrating my skin.
But only since last week I had a horrible experience I had a steroid injection in my hip its huge and full of liquid it hurts like you would'nt believe it goes so deep right into your muscle, I still have the bruise to prove it, ooh feeling faint thinking about. -

I WAS deathly afraid of needles until my oldest (who's almost 24 now) was diagnosed at the age of 10 with Type 1 Diabetes. After that, I've never had a problem with them. It was the needles or my daughter's life. -

I'm afraid of needles, but I get any shots I need even if I unnerve the person giving me the shot. I have to watch or it does not come near me. I also went to the extreme of getting my tongue peirced & a tattoo done. I watched the tattoo get done for 3 hours. Crazy, but I had to do it to help a little with the fear. I now plan to get at least 2 more tattoos.
