Yes, loved the 'Thriller' days, & The Jackson Five music. What a talent, &

I'm a fan of Michael Jackson's talent and work. Now, for his personal life and all of the crazy stuff that he got up in, probably not.

    Answered Never hes crazy

Nope, never liked him! as a child I always thought something was wrong with him.

    Ang,

It depends how old you are. I'm 43 and I remember when his music was awesome, especially with the Jackson Five, and later with Thriller. MJ is very instrumental how MTV shows music videos today. As a master of Music, he's the King. As a master of Whacko, he tips the scales.

I don't remember the jackson five(of course i know of them), but i was a very young child when thriller came out. I just never liked how he sang really. Something just didn't seem right to me. but again, that's just me. But I don't think in my wildest dreams would I have ever thought he'd end up such a nut job! that's for sure.
  • raves     [-] Smokey replied to ang
That's why you feel that way because you didn't grow up with Michael the way some of us older people have.

Back in the day, he did allot of good for many groups of people. It saddens me to see him in the condition he's in today.

Yeah they started in the late 60's, so that was a few years before my time.....now his sister on the other hand, I like her, she never has struck me as an "odd ball". Now she has done a few "bad" things but nothing too crazy... Which reminds me, why doesn't his sister help him out of some of the trouble he is in? or has she tried??
  • raves     [-] Smokey replied to ang
In my opinion, the family is not as tight as some will tell. Also, if the worst we can say about Janet is showing her breast on National Television, then I can overlook that in comparison to Michael's nite nite routine with little kids.

I just saw the movie, "Why did I get married?" and Janet was a co-star in that movie. She did an excellent job with her character! Bravo to her. And she's still an attractive woman for 43 years old.
  • raves     [-] ang replied to Smokey
Oh yes, she's a beautiful lady! that's for sure.

I use to be a Michael Jackson fan, a bigger Prince fan but nevertheless I use to like Mike. Now... the jury is out. If he were to release a new CD and the word is that the CD is good, I can't honestly say that I wouldn't buy it.
  • raves     [-] ang replied to B4Real2Me
    ahh Prince, he was cool!
  • raves     [-] B4Real2Me replied to ang
    Ang, Prince IS cool!!!
  • raves     [-] ang replied to B4Real2Me
you know, i do that all the time, using was when i mean is and so on! yes, you're right he is cool.
  • raves     [-] B4Real2Me replied to ang
I have ALL of his CDs and even this last one. I have most of Michael Jackson's.
  • raves     [-] ang replied to B4Real2Me
I can't say that I have ever got a Prince CD/Tape/whatever. I always liked to listen to him on the radio, but my style of music during that time wasn't really Prince so most of my music that I owned had more "metal" bands in it. as for MJ, i never ever owned anything by him. As I said before I never liked him.
  • raves +1   [-] B4Real2Me replied to ang
I listen to everything from R&B, country, rock, metal, jazz, classical to Gospel, reggae and everything else. My Husband is convince that I have multiple personalities and my music taste proves it.

I used to really like him. I still like his old music but once he started with the cosmetic surgeries, well that was a huge turn off. Once everything happened with the kids, well, that completely made me sick. Definately not a fan anymore!

The las time I went to a concert was back in the 80's when they had the Jackson 5 reunited tour. But from the first time I heard the pedophile stories I knew it was over. This man is a sick pervert.

I haven't heard any of his music since "Bad", but I probably still am a fan...
