Aren't small towns suppose to be safer??
I currently live in a small town and just the past month on the college campus (where nothing happens) gun shots were fired and then this morning someone committed murder. This is highly unusual for this town and i was wondering what everyone else thought as well

my folks live in a rural area. After their home was robbed 3 times, they talked the matter over witn the officers.
The police said, being in a rural area with few to no neighbors in sight of the house makes it open game for breaking and entering. They got an alarm system put in. -

I have only really used the 7mil hunting and at the range a few times to sight in due to ammo costs. Hey I am with u all the way I am a female for the record in case the rednecks can't tell on here Music Nazi..I drive a 4 door truck, I hunt with a 9mm rifle and man is ammo high here in Ar too...there r so many who judge and not have all the facts and I expect to be bashed for defending u here too..but I like u will tell them to where to kiss off at..oh and I keep a 40cal in my truck safe never know where and when u need protection city,small town or on a deserted highway..people in General are going bonkers more and more wonder if it in the air or the water they drink..I am here in cyber world wondering why I am even responding to any of this other than I don't like u being bashed for what I drive or cause i own a firearm....

i don't think there is a such thing as a safer town. the diffrence is that people feel safer and when something happnes the people in a small town are so shocked that something like that could happen in there town.
