Makes life a little miserable when you are not loyal or don't receive loyalty.

What's the point with becoming friends with someone if they are not a loyal one???

Its to me more like is a friend a true or just a dare weather kind. I try to rid myself of the fare weather kind, but some are harder to notice then others.

For it could be like my cuz a male slut for witch he admits, even though I think he might have found someone he likes a bit. How ever even with him there is a point of loyalty.

Loyalty is, in my opinion, one of the bedrocks of a relationship. Without it, the relationship is meaningless. Loyalty to your friend and their loyalty to you. You must stand up for each other, if someone makes a disparaging remark about your friend and you know they are wrong, loyalty demands that you defend your friend. By turning your back on that friend, you end the relationship, because you weren't loyal to the friend.

I agree it is one of the most important things i a relationship, that with out it there would be no trust. I also know that there can be a time, where you have to let friends go. Do to cercumstances like putting you or a loved one in jeperdy. I had such a friend who did this to me, by threatening my sobriety with bringing things around me that should not have been there. I do agree in the long run that to not defend your friend can be concidered being disloyal.
