SodaHead - What's Bubbling in Your Head?
If a thumbs down is given out on SodaHead. Should it show the user who left it?

The rating system is find, but that doesn't bring me back. What brings me back is to read what everyone else thinks about the items that I am interested in. Some comments open your eyes and makes you dig a little deeper into your own beliefs and some will change your beliefs. Others are just plain out of line. I skip the comments that need to use curse words. I could care less if a person curses [I am not a prude for I spent 4 years in the Navy] but I would like to communicate and debate on alittle higher level than that. -

The is also always that chance if you tell someone at work you disagree with that.

Frankly? Because I couldn't really care less. I don't come here to get raves, I come here because I enjoy many of the polls and the chance to express my views and opinions. I come here because it's a wonderful opportunity to see the views and opinions of others and every once in a while that may help to shape my own opinion on a matter. Lastly, and predominantly anymore, I come here because I have established good friendships here and I enjoy spending time with these people. The downraves, hell, I never gave them much thought in the beginning (except to actually beg for them from time to time - a long story - ask Jojohnen about it lol, he'll remember) and now I give them even less thought. They don't bother me, they don't ruin my day or sour my mood, nor should they. A downrave here is nothing - it says nothing, it means nothing, so why let it bother you? -

I am sure you have people on here you like to listen to, and talk to cause you agree on alot of the same topics. Thats why knowing you gives you your up or down rave would be nice. But thats just me.

raves Dec 21, 2007 01:47PM GMTThere is fighting now. Alot of people think if you give someone a thumbs down will cause alot of fighting I do not agree with that fully. I think it should show who gives you a thumbs down, or get ride of thumbs downs all together. I just don't like it when I get a thumbs down but I have no clue why.
Why can't live life asking are self "what if" this happens. -

It really doesn't matter to me. On the one hand, it would be nice, because I have gotten a couple of downraves for no reason. But I can usually figure out who did it. On the other hand, there are some really abusive people on here who absolutely deserve to be downraved, and if they knew who did it, they would probably downrave you back just out of retaliation. And besides, downraves don't subtract from your rave total anymore, so what's the difference? -

o yes. i was d/r 1 time and it aggravated the piss out of me. people can hide behind their opinions and not have the balls to come forward and explain themselves. so i strongly believe that it should b shown who gives the d/r cause it will make people come out and say y they did it exactly. sodahead is not a place to hide, its a place to express ur opinions and views so buck up and stop hiding. -

Oh we've answered this question so many times and yet SodaHead refuse to hear our cries and show us who down rave us. They'll show who up rave you and even allow people to block you but they won't show us who down rave you. I guess they're scared it might lead into cyberfights.
