How the f*** can these five bands be the only bands one can choose from for band of the year? Is there no justice in this world? I mean, plain white t's for band of the year? Give me a break, they had one good radio song, nothing of note to put them in the band of the year slot. What about the new Avenged album? Or perhaps the new Coheed and Cambria album? I could name a ton of bands that should take band of the year over these shitty picks. Just because a band gets lots of radio play does not mean they are the band of the year in regards to technical aspect and creativity, it simply means that people listen to them.

This should be titled "What the people who don't know sh*t about music think the band of the year is!"

    I'm not a big fan of really any of these bands except Linkin Park, but it seems like with they're hit "Hey There Delilah'', The plain White T's were the band of 07' :)
