The dog is considered a cop, therefore it is the same punishment should happen as if he took his partner with him.

Funny there is no option to vote to leave the poor guy alone! wtf? Everything is alleged. It was known he was attempting to harm only himself .. that's how the 911call came in but because the police must cover thier ass it has taken on this spin... whatever... you people are haters so go ahead and have a field day. I don't think he should be charged for any of the things that were asked to vote on. He needs help along with others that struggle with mental illness! If they're stuck in prison they usually don't come out any better.

no i dont. i knew cory and he is not that type of guy. he is such a nice and generous person. but had no upbringing by either of his parents. i think they should be the ones punished.

Hi! I live in San Diego (Rancho Bernardo) and saw this very sad story on 10News! The city of Oceanside and the Oceanside Police Department is in shock and angry and sad and just running the whole gamut of emotions. The city and community of San Diego should support the Oceanside Police Department any way they can.
