How fast do you drive normally?

This is assuming you're on the surface streets where it's usually 35 mph.

I always follow the speed limit. I'm not the happiest driver, and I'm not into cars, and I am extra cautious.

    Based upon what my Prius readout tells me, the "sweet spot" for consumption on the highway is between 65 and 72 mph. This is where I try to keep it on the FW. Surface... whatever the posted speed is, give or take a couple of MPH.

    The road I usually drive on is 65 miles and most people go at least 70 and I go in the left lane so how ever fast the left line is going lol

    Usually about 5 over when in town, but on the freeway I go way faster than I should. Bad habit I guess.

    However, it depends on the situation. I wouldn't drive that fast if if the situation called for more caution.

    Depends on the road though - I generally drive a bit faster than I should. On the highway I'm generally going about 75 mph.

    i usually go 5 to 10 mph over what the speed limit is. if i'm driving in a 35mph area though i'll go around 55 mph sometimes. i like to go fast, but i'm completely aware and i know where the police usually sit.:)

    Nashville traffic is a pita.I just drive a little slower than everyone else and let them fight it out .Its not a race.The 5 min saved driving faster is not worth getting a pissed off over.

    don't have mph in australia but the max posted speed limit here is 110kph and i will usually sit on 115/120kph

    I drive what ever the speed limit is or no more then 5pmh over the speed limit.

    I use to speed years ago, and I paid for it. Is it worth driving 10miles over the speed limit to get home 10mins sooner, and maybe getting a ticket, and day in court?

    Everytime I see someone going like 30 miles over the speed limit, especially if they drive on everyones ass and make themselves look like ass I hope that they crash. There would probably be a better way to make the learn their lesson but theres really no need for them to go that fast and anything could jump out in front of them and cause them to lose control of the car and injur (or worse) everyone around them.

    Most areas where I live the speed limit is 55 mph. But sometimes there are a few roads that you can go 70 on.

    Gotta be careful in OK. Speeds go from 70 to 45 in about 300 feet thru some towns.

    I make an effort to go the legal limit, I get in a hurry like most people, and I try to go no more than 7 over the limit. I got pulled over going 45 in a 35 recently. I had no excuse and made none. I was verbally warned and that made more of an impact on me that a fine.

    lol, well i dont drive yet, but when i do, hopefullly soon, I think i will drive slowly. My brother said i will drive fast, because when he does, i dont flinch.....
